Swimmers thrive in small class sizes.
Most classes will have 1 instructor : 4 swimmers.
Water Tots (ages 2-3 year olds only) will be 1 instructor : 3 swimmers. -
How long is each swimming lesson?
Each swimming lesson is 30 minutes in duration.
-
How long will it take may child to be able to swim?
Every child is unique, so it varies on factors such as comfort level, experience in group settings, adaptability to new situations, and prior exposure to water. However, consistency and attending multiple times per week typically lead to noticeably faster progress.
-
What do I need to bring to swimming lessons?
Bring a swimsuit, towel, and goggles (if desired). We do encourage learning to swim with and without goggles. For little swimmers under age 3, a reusable diaper must be worn at all times in the water (even if potty-trained). Be prepared with a snack and water at the end of each lesson, swimmers are always hungry! Separate communication will be provided for swim camps.
-
How do the monthly group lessons work?
After enrolling in a group lesson, your swimmer will swim at the same time and day each week without schedule changes providing peace of mind and continuity until your child advances to the next level, requests a schedule change, or decides to withdraw from the class. To withdraw from classes for the upcoming month, swimmers registered for the current month must fill out the lesson withdrawal form before the 19th. On the 20th of each month, tuition will be billed for the upcoming month. If a month consists of five weeks on your chosen day of the week rather than the standard four weeks, your account will be charged an extra lesson for that month.
-
Can I join in the middle of the month?
Absolutely! Your tuition will be adjusted accordingly.
-
Why should my child take swim lessons year-round?
Mastering swimming skills requires ongoing practice and maintenance. Any interruptions in instruction can lead to regression in progress. At SwimBranson, we understand the importance of continuity in learning, our programs are designed with your busy lifestyle in mind, offering convenient options and flexible scheduling to ensure your swimmer can consistently progress without disruptions.
-
What happens if my child is less (or more) advanced than the other children in class?
We recognize that every child learns uniquely and at their own pace. That’s why our instructors closely observe and adapt teaching methods as needed to ensure effective learning. The curriculum is taught to the child’s pace in skill development, whether their first lesson or tenth.

What are Express Lesson Clinics?
These express lesson clinics offer families increased water time with minimal commitments, making them ideal for busy schedules or when extra focus on skill development is desired. These clinics follow the same curriculum and ratios as our monthly group lessons but in a condensed version to reinforce skills and bolster progress for swimmers. Clinics have a set start and end date, no withdrawal form is needed.
